Well, it's finally the week we either love or fear—this is Halloween, this is Halloween! Ghosts and goblins, witches and werewolves, and Spider-Man after Spider-Man muscle suits wherever you look! (Seriously though, what's up with those freaky morphsuits that show every bit and piece of the person wearing them except their faces? Ew!!) The scariest part of this holiday is that starting two weeks ago, stores already had all sorts of Christmas decor on the shelves. I'd put money on our seeing heart boxes of candy popping up before Thanksgiving is through!
Regardless, we're gearing up for Thursday's Halloween parade, starting at 10:30—get the full info in last Friday's school newsletter. Other than that, it's a quiet week at ECLC, so however you enjoy this spooky holiday, the PTO wishes all a creepy, crawly, heck of a good time trick or treating. And for those Halloween bah-humbugs like at least one of us on the PTO (okay, it's me), feel free to turn off your porch light, lock the door, and settle down to a showing of the original Ghostbusters with your loved ones—we won't judge. Just please hold off on the "It's a Wonderful Life" screenings until at least Black Friday!!
