Feliz Primavera para Todos! Happy Spring to All!

Happy Cinco de Mayo, or 5th of May! May all who celebrate the day enjoy their tacos...a day early for Taco Tuesday, but you know what? Enjoy them today and tomorrow! ¿Por qué no?!! Why not?!! (We inhaled some this weekend at Beach Tacos in Springfield...a must-visit if you haven't been there before!)

Let's take a moment to celebrate Speech and Hearing Awareness Month—www.asha.org/national-speech-language-hearing-month—which raises awareness about communication disorders and the importance of speech, language, and hearing health.

And we would be remiss if we were to omit National Teacher Appreciation Month. This week the PTO is celebrating our amazing-wonderful-fabulous-outstanding ECLC staff—from teachers to paras and aides, all the admins, and more (including our principal...we see, you Mr. Killian!)—to thank them all from the bottom of our collective hearts for the love and dedication they show in helping us teach, lead, guide, and care for our beloved students. Be sure to visit the art show in the cafeteria before or after the concerts!

* Families who paid for the cancelled Fall Family Picnic will have payments/tickets applied to this event.

The event will be held outside, but will move inside in case of rain, same day.

Reminder: Last Day Change of Date

Due to a lack of snow days this winter, there will be "give back" days at the end of the school year.

The new last day of school will be Monday, June 23, with a 12:45 early dismissal.

PTO Meetings

Anyone can join PTO meetings—7:00 pm, either in person at school (room 101) or hybrid/online.
