Happy Awareness-es!!

In addition to previously mentioned World Down Syndrome Day and Developmental Disabilities Month, in March we celebrate Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month. We also go PURPLE for Epilepsy Awareness Day on March 26. March 1 was International Wheelchair Day, so all around a month of celebrations of our kids and how much we cherish them! This is also the month the crocuses start to make themselves known, and yesterday I saw a whole bunch of daffodils at the park, so flowers all around!

As for what the PTO is doing to continue to celebrate and support our students, look down below for both continuing and upcoming events. Try to stay dry and warm this wintery weathery March—it's definitely coming in like a lion, so let's hope this final week leads us toward more lamb-like spring-like weather in April.

Events & Programs

The Spring Book Fair is Done!

Another successful book fair finished on Friday. There was over $3000 in sales, and the money we make goes back into books for classrooms.

Ten lucky students won posters in the poster draw, and we also had ten other students win their choice of books in the book lottery. Congratulations to all and keep on reading!!

Dance-A-Thon Fundraiser Needs Your Help!

The Dance-A-Thon fundraiser is three weeks away and we are at only 21% of our ultimate goal. Please share the Friends, Family, and More link to help us reach our goal. All the information and links can be found on the Electronic Backpack.

Suggested donation is $25.00, but any amount achieved is greatly appreciated—you can edit the amount when you checkout. Please donate only what you can afford.

Faces of Joy Gala Invites You to Get Involved

Remember: TWO Date Changes

The June Upper School Beach Party Social date has been rescheduled to June 5. Please keep this in mind when sending in registrations for this end of the year event.

Muffins with Moms and Donuts with Dads will now both be on May 20. The main calendar has been updated to reflect all these changes.

PTO Meetings

JOIN US! PTO meetings are held monthly on select Tuesdays at 7:00. Anyone can attend meetings—either in person at the school (room 101) or hybrid/online (see below).
